Terms of sale and use
Last updated:
Before you launch: replace [BUSINESS NAME], [ADDRESS], [SUPPORT EMAIL] and [COUNTRY/STATE] below. If you sell to UK or EU consumers, keep the withdrawal-rights section — it is a legal requirement, not boilerplate.
These terms are the agreement between you and [BUSINESS NAME], [ADDRESS] ("we", "us") when you buy or use the Camera Confident course. Buying the course means you accept them.
What you're buying
A one-time purchase of lifetime access to the Camera Confident online course: written lessons, diagrams, the interactive exposure simulator, field assignments, module checks, the 30-day challenge and the printable references, as described on the sales page at the time of your purchase. It is a digital product. Nothing is shipped.
Access
After payment we email an access link to the address you gave at checkout. That link signs you into the course on any device and does not expire. "Lifetime" means for as long as we operate the course; if we ever discontinue it we will give at least 90 days' notice so you can save the material you need.
Your access is personal. Please don't share your link, republish the lessons, or resell the material. We may withdraw access, without a refund, for sharing that goes beyond your own household.
Price and payment
The price is shown on the sales page and in the checkout window before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Where sales tax or VAT applies it is calculated at checkout. You are responsible for any import or local taxes your own country charges on digital goods.
Refunds
Email [SUPPORT EMAIL] within 30 days of purchase and we refund you in full. No forms, no reason needed. The full policy is on the refunds page.
Your right to withdraw (UK and EU consumers)
Normally you have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because this is digital content delivered immediately, by completing checkout you ask us to start supplying it at once and acknowledge that you lose that statutory 14-day right once access has begun. Our own 30-day guarantee above is more generous and applies regardless.
What we promise, and what we don't
We promise the course contains what the sales page says it contains, and that it is taught carefully and honestly. We do not promise any particular outcome. Photography is a skill: what you get out of the course depends on doing the assignments. Nothing here is a guarantee of income, professional work or a specific standard of photograph.
The course is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, or affects your statutory consumer rights.
Your content
The photographs you take are entirely yours. We claim no rights over them. If you send us a photo and give written permission for us to show it, that permission is what we rely on — and you can withdraw it at any time.
Our content
The lessons, diagrams, simulator, text and design are our copyright. You may read them, print the references for your own use, and quote briefly with attribution. You may not copy, republish, translate or sell them.
Changes to the course
We improve and update the course over time. Updates are included in your purchase at no extra cost. We may reorganise or replace material, but not reduce the course below what was advertised when you bought it.
Ending access
We may end your access if you request a refund (access ends with the refund), if you charge back a payment, or if you breach these terms. Otherwise access continues.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY/STATE], and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
